Thyroid disorders, though very common today, can be extremely distressing and even life-threatening. With the aim of correcting thyroid derangement without a life-long dependence, Biogetica offers you a holistic therapy that acts both on the mental and physical sphere, to restore functional and structural thyroid derangement.* Biogetica product kits contain minute yet sufficient therapeutic doses that maintain hormonal dynamics in the body.* The therapies not only restore hormonal balance but also improve the quality of life by relieving the various symptoms of thyroid disorders that can affect daily life.* Sarcodes present in our kits stimulate the thyroid gland to produce adequate amounts of thyroid hormone and bring the body back to a normal functioning state (euthyroid state) in a relatively short period of time.* This manner of appealing to the balancing forces in the body to produce essential secretions rather than supplying them from the outside, allows for more health and balance in the long-run.*

Biogetica's approach to healing is based on the following facts, which represent the convergence of quantum physics, religion, modern biotech and ancient medicine systems.
1. TREAT THE ENTIRE BEING:
2. LOOK FOR NATURAL SOLUTIONS:
3. APPEAL TO THE BALANCING FORCES INHERENT IN ALL NATURE:
4. 'FROM MEDICATION TO MEDITATION':
1. TREAT THE ENTIRE BEING: “All matter originates and exists only by virtue of vibration.” - Max Planck (Nobel Prize winner and the father of Quantum Physics).
You, as a living, thinking, feeling, vibrating being, are much more than a collection of inter-related chemical processes. You are life itself. Every thought, emotion, vibration or action leads to a series of chemical changes in the body. All ailments are a result of disharmony in the life force. Biogetica recognizes this and treats the ENTIRE BEING, bringing mind, body and soul into harmony, for lasting results. Treating an ailment on a molecular level alone seldom has a lasting affect, as the untreated social, emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic patterns cause the ailment to manifest once again on a physical plane. Complete healing is necessary for lasting healing. Biogetica therefore uses resonance homeopathics to harmonize the entire being; flower essences to attune the mind; Ayurvedic, Tibetan and Chinese herbs to balance energetic and physiological manifestation of the five elements; and nutraceuticals to coordinate cellular responses.*
It is now a known fact that every thought and emotion has corresponding specific peptide secretions from the hypothalamus. Each cell has numerous receptors for these peptides, and the peptides greatly change the state of the cell. Hence, each thought or emotion is a signal that changes the state of our cells and alters our being. When our mind is in panic, anger or joy, every cell in our body is in panic, anger or joy. Biogetica, therefore, works on emotional and mental levels, along with cellular levels, in order to ensure that the entire being is brought into harmony - from the subtle emotions and thoughts down to gross cells and vice versa. This is our understanding and implementation of holographic healing.
2. LOOK FOR NATURAL SOLUTIONS: God has made the earth sprout medicines... It would be wise not to ignore them. The intelligence of nature is much greater than that of man. But man still focuses on chemical medicines, as they can be patented and sold for huge profits. Allopathy's attempts to treat chronic ailments by directly interfering with chemical processes using man-made substances only, has essentially been a failure. We claim to be cracking the gene code, but we still can't cure a cold with man-made substances. Homeopaths and naturalists the world over will claim to cure a cold most times. However, their methods are never studied and verified by governing bodies, as there is no one who will spend millions to get approval on an herb, knowing that it cannot be patented and sold exclusively by them.
3. APPEAL TO THE BALANCING FORCES INHERENT IN ALL NATURE: “Like Cures Like”
- Samuel Hahnemann (The father of Homeopathy)
The most sophisticated of pharmacies is within the body. Biogetica's methods simply remind this pharmacy within the body to produce what it is meant to.
There is an intelligence that maintains equilibrium in all nature. Some would call it 'Spirit'. Every being functions with a precision way beyond our comprehension. Over the years, Homeopathy, Ayurveda and numerous other healing systems have documented the fact that appealing to this intelligence or function of homeostasis is the most appropriate way to bring a being into lasting equilibrium.* Over time, we have learnt that interfering with a body's chemical processes only causes further complications, as this essentially goes against the balancing homeostatic forces of nature. When we inject something from the outside, the body stops producing it itself.*
Below are some examples that illustrate our point:
a. Homeopathic coffee is coffee diluted past 10^6 and potentized. There are no molecules of coffee left in the mixture, but the water remembers the informational vibration of the coffee molecule. When ingested, this mixture alters the vibration in the water, which composes 70% of the human body. The body is instantly given information on a new vibration which will keep it awake and compensates by putting you to sleep. Sounds far-fetched? Try it!
b. A diabetic person's pancreas does not produce adequate insulin. Western allopathic medicine would require this person to inject insulin daily. Some would argue that this external supplementation causes the Beta cells in the pancreas to slacken further, and produce even less insulin, over time. Biogetica, with the help of years of Homeopathic, Allopathic, Biotech and Ayurvedic research, gives the person insulin and healthy pancreatic tissue, Homeopathically. The vibrational information from the insulin and pancreatic molecules is imprinted on water. We have found that taking these daily doses of homeopathic insulin and pancreatic sarcodes, resonates the information onto the water, which is 70% of the entire body, and essentially reminds and coaxes the body to produce insulin once again. This essentially, is a modern application of the sarcode principle of Homeopathy . Biogetica also adds numerous herbs from various traditions to the diabetic regimen. These increase sugar metabolism and reduce diabetic symptoms.
c. A Herpes patient gets recurrent outbreaks, as the virus lays dormant in the nerve bodies and attacks whenever one's immunity is compromised. When the virus is dormant, our immunity does little or nothing to fight it. Biogetica administers a nosode containing merely the energetic information from the virus. Each dose serves as a reminder for the person's immune system to fight the virus at the lowest level, while it lies dormant. Over time, this leads to a state where the immune system has effectively suppressed the virus for life.* It is very similar to the principle of vaccination. The use of nosodes , such as '2LHerp' for treating Herpes, was studied by independent researchers in the UK. They found that nosodes benefited 82% of patients, and therefore, were among the most effective treatments for a virus, known to man. We attempt to go beyond 82% by augmenting nosode -therapy with herbs from numerous traditions. These, together, build immunity and make your body inhospitable to the virus.
4. 'FROM MEDICATION TO MEDITATION' - Biogetica measures its success not in dollars earned, but in lives improved. We do not believe in constant life-long medication, and wish to see you learning from your ailments and leading happier, healthier lives. With this goal in mind, we offer lifestyle changes and meditations designed to transform your being and ease any emotional, mental and karmic constrictions, which are often the root cause of disease. We encourage all customers to make conscious learning and meditation part of the healing process. We must remember that the quality of our lives is not determined by external situations, but rather, by internal conditions. We provide you the tools to manage your internal self better and hope you use them for growth and happiness.
We work day and night in order to ensure that you wake up in a world where you never hear the words 'there is no cure!'

Thyroid is a bilobed gland connected by an isthmus, and is located in the front of the neck, below the larynx (voice box). The gland produces hormones (T3 and T4), which are responsible for cellular respiration and metabolism. They also enhance the effects of other hormones.
In case of an immunological imbalance, the functioning of the gland can is disturbed. This disturbance can cause either under-activity or hyperactivity of the gland, or simple enlargement of the gland. The most common disorders of the thyroid gland are:
. Hyperthyroidism
. Hypothyroidism
. Goiter
Thyroid problems are among the most common medical conditions, but, because their symptoms often appear gradually, they are frequently misdiagnosed. |
|
What is Hyperthyroidism?
Hyperthyroidism is characterized by over-activity of the thyroid gland, which causes abnormal levels of thyroid hormones and results in a rapid metabolism. The condition specifically refers to a combination of high levels of thyroxin (T4) and triidothyronine (T3) hormones produced by the thyroid gland, and low levels of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) produced by the pituitary gland. In normal conditions, TSH stimulates the thyroid gland to maintain sufficient levels of T3 and T4 hormones, which are responsible for maintaining metabolism, muscle and nerve activity, blood flow, reproductive health and various other important functions of the body. Although hyperthyroidism can affect anyone, it is most common among women between the ages of 20 and 40. If left untreated, hyperthyroidism can be life-threatening.
Causes
The exact cause of hyperthyroidism is not known, but it is commonly associated with the process of destruction of cells by the body when it fails to recognize them as its own (autoimmunity), in a condition called Grave's disease. Other causes associated with hyperthyroidism include:
. Family history of thyroid disease
. Non-cancerous growths of the thyroid gland or pituitary gland
. Tumors of the testes or ovaries
. Specific viral infections
. Poorly managed dosage of levothyroxine hormone while treating hypothyroidism
Symptoms
Symptoms of hyperthyroidism may vary in individuals. However, the common symptoms include:
. Drastic, unexplained weight-loss
. Tremors
. Palpitations
. Heat intolerance
. Increased thirst
. Profuse sweating
. Diarrhea
. Excessive nervousness
. Fatigue and muscle weakness
. Changes in menstrual patterns
. Loss of sleep
. Eye problems (irritability and discomfort) - commonly associated with Grave's disease
Diagnosis
Diagnosis of hyperthyroidism is based on the medical history, symptoms, a physical examination, blood tests to determine the free T3, T4, TSH levels, and ultrasonography of the thyroid gland.
The normal levels of the thyroid hormones are:
Free T3 -- 230-420 pg/dL
Free T4 -- 0.8-1.5 ng/dL
TSH -- 0.4-4.5 µIU/mL
Treatment
The only treatment that the conventional system of medicine offers for hyperthyroidism is hormone replacement therapy and beta-blockers. The drugs include:
. Anti-thyroid drugs - propylthiouracil, carbimazole, methimazole (Tapazole).
. Beta-blockers - propanolol (Inderal), atenolol (Tenormin), metoprolol (Lopressor).
These medications require regular follow-up examinations for monitoring and modifying dosage according to hormonal levels. It is noted that people who take anti-thyroid drugs have a high chance of recurrence of the condition. Some of the common side-effects of these drugs include itching, rash, hives, joint pain and swelling, fever, altered taste-sensation, nausea and vomiting. The major side-effects of these drugs include, a decrease in production of white blood cells (agranulocytosis), liver damage, failure of the bone marrow to produce blood cells (aplastic
anemia
) and vasculitis.
If these drugs do not relieve the condition, the physician may recommend radiation therapy, radioactive iodine therapy or surgery.
The most common problem with these treatments is the damage to the remaining thyroid cells, which affects production of thyroid hormones and causes hypothyroidism. This condition again requires life-long hormone replacement therapy of levothyroxine (Synthroid).
Tips
. Avoid foods such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage and cauliflower
. Restrict consumption of iodized salt
. Reduce stress
. Avoid consumption of alcohol and caffeine
. Avoid smoking
What is Hypothyroidism?
Hypothyroidism is characterized by under-activity of the thyroid gland, which causes abnormal levels of thyroid hormones and results in a sluggish metabolism. The condition specifically refers to a combination of low levels of thyroxin (T4) and triidothyronine (T3) hormones produced by the thyroid gland, and high levels of the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) produced by the pituitary gland. In normal conditions, the TSH stimulates the thyroid gland to maintain sufficient levels of the T3 and T4 hormones. The T3 and T4 hormones are responsible for maintaining metabolism, muscle and nerve activity, blood flow, reproductive health and various other important functions of the body. Hypothyroidism can be classified into two types:
. Primary Hypothyroidism - This develops due to dysfunction of the thyroid gland.
. Secondary Hypothyroidism - This develops due to dysfunction of the pituitary gland.
It is estimated that about 25 million people suffer from hypothyroidism, in the US alone. However, half of these people have yet to be diagnosed. Women are 10 times more likely than men to suffer from hypothyroidism.
Causes
The exact cause of hypothyroidism is not known, but it is commonly associated with a process of destruction of cells by the body when it fails to recognize them as its own (autoimmunity), in a condition called Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Thyroid gland dysfunction has also been associated with some other factors, including:
. Family history of thyroid disease
. Hormonal changes during pregnancy or puberty
. Prolonged exposure to radiation or radiotherapy
. Surgery of the thyroid gland when treating other disorders
. Certain viral infections
. Drugs like nitroprusside, lithium or iodides
. Defects of the thyroid gland since birth
. Pituitary gland malfunction
Symptoms
Hypothyroidism is sometimes referred to as a 'silent' disease, because in its initial stages, the condition produces mild symptoms that are not apparent. In later stages, it may produce a combination of the following symptoms:
. Unexplained weight-gain
. Chronic fatigue and unexplained tiredness
. Constipation
. Sensitivity to cold
. Brittle nails and dry skin
. Hoarseness of the voice
. Muscle aches, pain or swelling of the joints
. Depression
. Disturbed menstrual periods in women
Diagnosis
Diagnosis of hypothyroidism is based on the medical history, symptoms, a physical examination, blood tests to determine the free T3, T4, TSH levels, and ultrasonography of the thyroid gland.
The normal levels of the thyroid hormones are:
Hormone Level
Free T3 -- 230-420 pg/dL
Free T4 -- 0.8-1.5 ng/dL
TSH -- 0.4- 4.5 µIU/mL
Treatment
The only treatment that the modern system of medicine provides for hypothyroidism is hormone replacement therapy by using levothyroxine (Synthroid). This treatment requires regular follow-up examinations for monitoring and modifying dosage according to hormonal levels. The hormone replacement therapy is a life-long treatment and once started the dosage needs to be periodically increased, and it cannot be withdrawn. The body becomes totally dependent on the hormone and any fluctuation in the dosage causes return of the symptoms and further deterioration of the condition.
An overdose of the drug may cause life-threatening side-effects such as irregular heart-rate, palpitations, chest pain, heart-attack or heart failure. Some of the common side-effects of the drug are abdominal cramps, anxiety, changes in appetite, changes in menstrual periods, diarrhea, emotional instability, fatigue, fever, flushing, hair-loss, headache, heat intolerance, irritability, muscle weakness, nausea, nervousness, shortness of breath, sleeplessness, sweating, tremors and vomiting.
Tips
. Maintain a healthy weight
. Have a well-balanced diet
. Avoid foods such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage and cauliflower.
. Exercise regularly
What is Goiter?
Goiter is a condition characterized by an enlargement of the thyroid gland, which results in a swelling in the front of the neck. The thyroid gland produces thyroxin (T4) and triidothyronine (T3) hormones that are responsible for maintaining metabolism, muscle and nerve activity, blood flow, reproductive health and various other important functions of the body. The thyroid gland may enlarge during a normal physiological phenomenon like puberty or pregnancy, or may be caused by another condition like Grave's disease. Goiter occurs more commonly in women and in people with a family history of thyroid diseases. In the US, about 10% of the population suffers from goiter.
If the goiter does not affect normal functioning of the thyroid, it is known as non-toxic goiter. However, when the goiter causes over-activity of the thyroid gland, it is called toxic goiter.
Types of Goiter
Depending on the texture of the thyroid gland, goiters can be classified into two types:
. Diffuse Goiter: In this type of goiter, the thyroid gland is smooth in consistency. It is usually caused by a viral infection, a thyroid disease like Hashimoto's thyroiditis, or by drugs such as lithium.
. Nodular Goiter: In this type of goiter, the thyroid gland is irregular or nodular in consistency. These goiters can present as a single swelling (solitary nodule) or as multiple swellings (multi-nodular goiter). It is usually caused by tumors of the thyroid gland.
Symptoms
Large goiters may be associated with symptoms such as:
. A constricted feeling or 'lump in the throat'
. Difficult in swallowing
. Difficulty in breathing, especially while lying-down
. Hoarseness of the voice
Diagnosis
The diagnosis of goiters is based on the medical history, a physical examination and diagnostic procedures like:
. Blood tests to measure the level of thyroid hormones
. Thyroid scan and radioactive iodine uptake
. Biopsy of the goiters
Treatment Options
The treatment provided by the conventional system of medicine depends on the size of the goiter and the functioning of the thyroid gland. If the goiter affects the normal functioning of the thyroid gland, the treatment may include:
. Hormone replacement therapy
. Radioactive therapy
. Surgical removal of the gland
The treatment requires regular follow-up examinations for monitoring and modifying dosage according to hormonal levels. The hormone replacement therapy is a life-long treatment and once started the dosage needs to be periodically increased, and it cannot be withdrawn. The body becomes totally dependent on the hormone and any fluctuation in the dosage causes return of the symptoms and further deterioration of the condition.
Tips
. Have a well-balanced diet
. Avoid consumption of alcohol and caffeine
. Avoid foods such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, and cauliflower
. Reduce stress
. Avoid smoking
